Pretty much every winery along the Dundee Hills’ Worden Hill Road is worth a visit – the views are stunning and the pinot pitch-perfect – but Winderlea is one of our favorites: a beautiful floor-to-ceiling windowed tasting room, stunning views of the Dundee Hills, an upbeat and knowledgeable crew, and really fun events. They are open every day (huge plus!), offer food options, and have a wide selection of tasting experiences: from lunch (in the summer) to vineyard hikes, garden domes and more. The wines are consistently lovely and they usually have a great selection of library vintages for purchase, as well.
This is a spot we recommend to nearly everyone, as it suits all. Estate vineyard wines are biodynamic & organic starting in 2016.
