about me
I’m a highly experienced technical design generalist with a diverse 20 year background in online marketing, e-commerce software development, user interface design, information architecture, graphic design, illustration, content generation and social media management. I’ve performed in a smorgasbord of roles – from consultant to manager to owner – in startups, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. View my resume for the details.
I left the corporate world in 2012 to pursue entrepreneurship, and have since founded, managed and handled operations and all marketing activities for four small creative businesses. Realizing that my interests and experience converge in hospitality, design and community building, and that I find the most fulfillment in helping other creative small businesses get established and grow, I’m looking for more opportunities to do just that.

Help you get a hospitality space, club/membership or other community-driven initiative off the ground, handling both technical and operational aspects of the launch and growth strategies
Design, plan and assist in promotional events, including launches, workshops, club parties and other publicity-boosting and content-gathering activities
Consult with you on any of my areas of expertise and industry background, and train you or your staff to handle your marketing tasks yourself
Set up and optimize your social media accounts
Assist in developing your content creation strategy, including a starting set of photography and copy
Handle light SEO activities, including keyword research and content optimization, for Google and Google Maps. I have experience with SEO on WordPress and Squarespace platforms.
Suggest website and other technology/system enhancements like AI, automation, data collection, member/user management and the like to enhance your marketing and sales processes and minimize repetitive work

I work on an hourly basis, with rates between $40 and $75 per hour depending on the type of work. I’ll give you an estimate for each project and notify you if changes to the scope will result in increased costs: so, no surprises.
